It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ada Hamilton.
Ada passed away peacefully, at home, as she wanted on July 19 after a long struggle with COPD. She is predeceased by her husband George and survived by her sons, Bob (Linda), Gordon (Barbara), Kerry (Yvette), Geoffrey (Sandra) and her daughter Heather. Also, her brothers Art (Carol), William, her sister Ellen,7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Ada was a loving, caring wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Her greatest love was her family, and she devoted her life to looking after them. She had a special place in her heart for all children.
Never afraid to try anything, she accepted the opportunity for travel and adventure without complaint. Her huge heart and compassion for others will never be forgotten. She will be loved and remembered forever.
The family would like to extend a huge amount of thanks to all of the people at Interior Health for their help and support over the years.
In lieu of flowers, etc. donations to Childrens Hospital or any children’s charity would be kindly appreciated.
