August 19, 1994 – October 30, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Amanda Carr, announces her sudden passing at the young age of 28.
Amanda was predeceased by her father Danny in 2004, grandpa’s, grandma’s, aunties, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her son Cameron, her mother Donna, stepfather Don, sister Danielle (Josh), nieces Violet and Abigail, step siblings Jesse, Jordan, and Jo, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Amanda, Danielle, and Donna moved to Kamloops from Hope, BC in 2005.
Amanda’s heart compelled her to try and help all that were around her. She would literally give the shirt off her own back to another in need. She will always be remembered for her special way with animals and joy of fishing and hiking. But most of all, her love for her son Cameron.
Amanda’s pain and suffering are gone now, as she walks in heaven with the other angels. Finally at peace.
Celebration of life will be held Wednesday, November 23rd at 1:00pm at the Heffley Creek Community Hall. All are welcome to attend and those who wish to share a memory are welcome to do so.
A special thank you to all of her ASK Team and mental health workers.

Amanda was always such a light whenever she was around. Some of my most fondest memories growing up are with Amanda and her family. Running around on the farm, being scared of Uncle Jim after watching the ring. I will miss seeing her at family events but I know she was greeted with the warmest of hugs and love from all who have loved her and love her. Amanda may you sore with all of the peace and love we are sending your way

Amanda’s true and deep expression of written words and art, touched my heart.
A magical being who people fell in love with, without having physically met.
A rare and beautiful soul.
Powerful.
She’s gifted you her strength she no longer requires as she has found her haven.
May this strength guide you through your journey as she begins her new chapter.
The love amongst you has always been true and eternal. That will change only as it deepens. It will never fade.
Love to all.
Strength to all.

Amanda was a very caring, thoughtful and generous young woman. I had the honor & privilege to spend a brief moment in her short life. We enjoyed our hikes up Peterson’s Creek, work outs at the YMCA, watching T.V. and always looking forward to her next art projects. My favorite time was our weekly walks around Riverside Park while silently enjoy eachother’s company.
May she soar like a eagle, now that she’s not shackled to the ground.

Revelation 21:1-4
KJV
The New Heaven and the New Earth
211 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I was advised by my son Cody of this a while back. I am now just searching the obituary. Amanda was a very sweet and special young lady. We had many text conversations and numerous trips to the pharmacy and other places she felt she needed to go. She sent me lots of pictures of her and Cam and I know he was the world to her but she had a hard time coping. It truly breaks my heart that such a special soul is gone. I really loved Amanda and told her often. My heart goes to you Donna and your family.
