Brian Dycke, born in Vernon 1959 and passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022 in Kamloops, BC.after a short illness at the age of 63.
Brian will be deeply missed by his family and friends who appreciated his sense of humor, gentle and kind heart and his inquisitiveness. As a journeyman chef, Brian loved to feed the masses and could improvise on the fly. He gave his heart fearlessly and was loved by all who took the time to know him.
Brian had a strong interest in cameras/video production, airplanes, magic, gadgets and history. Always able to converse with people from all walks of life and provide his perspective on different things with a wit and humour which was unique to Brian. Brian will always be in our hearts forever and always.
Brian is survived by his devoted wife Charmayne, daughter Cassie (Bob), brother Stanley (Wanda) step-children Laural-Lee (John), Paul (Olivia) and Crystal (Eric) and grandchildren Tatiana, Lucas, Marcus, Ellie, Jacob and Cecilia. We are all broken hearted but will cherish the memories and videos Brian has left behind, which will comfort us as we continue this journey of losing such a special person.
A private gathering to celebrate his life will be held in March of 2023.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Inland Royal Hospital for the care and attention he received during his stay.
