Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beloved Daphne. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Daphne was a wonderful person. She loved all, judged none, and was the glue that held her family together. Her love for Don, her husband of 59 years, was truly special. They have known and loved each other for 67 years.
In her final days, family and friends were blessed to spend time with Daphne, sharing memories, singing, talking, laughing and reminiscing about the many happy times that were had by all over the years.
We are blessed to have such supportive family and friends. Thank you to all that were there to care for Daphne.
A big thank you to Dr. James Howie, the staff at R.I.H. (especially RN Brittany and Dr Andrew), the great staff at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice, and the staff at Shoppers Drug Mart Northills.
Many of Daphne’s family and good friends have gone before her, but it makes us all a little happier knowing she is up there with such wonderful company, and we are pretty sure her little buddy Chico has found his way back to her lap.
