In Memorial

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas J. Dunkley announce his passing on October 29, 2021, at the age of 77. Douglas is survived by Linda, his wife and best friend of 57 years, and his children Dianna (James Ward), Lisa (Phil Marshall, Zeb, Max) and Michael. Douglas is also survived by his sister Lynn Morrison and his nephew Steven Morrison (Debbie, Briar, Phoebe). Douglas was predeceased by his father Melvin in January 2017 and by his mother Nicolette in February 2021.

After a successful 40-year career in the Lumber industry, Douglas and Linda retired to Rivershore Golf Estates. Douglas loved living on the golf course and made the most of his time playing golf and enjoying the beautiful scenery and relaxing lifestyle. One of Doug’s favourite pastimes was an early morning round of golf with his buddies. He played countless holes over the many years and cherished his beloved golf course, neighbourhood, and Rivershore community.

Douglas was a good man who was well liked and respected. He was honest, kind, caring, generous, funny, and hard working. He was a wonderful father, friend and neighbour and was always willing to help others.

Douglas will be forever remembered and missed tremendously by his loving family.
