Louise (Esther) Massicotte passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2023, in Kamloops, BC with her family by her side. She had just celebrated her 68th birthday. Born in Louis Creek, BC on February 12th, 1955. Louise will be greatly missed by her daughter Tammy (Darryl) of Barriere, B.C. her sons Stephen and Norman both of Kamloops, B.C. her grandchildren Jordon (Jonah), Cherish, Bryce (Amelia), Crystal (Russell), Dalton (Rianne) and great grandchildren Ivy and Jocelyn. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters Ellen (Gill), Audrey, Deanna (Walter), Darlene and her brother Carson, numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends. She is predeceased by her dad Alfred, her mom Isabelle, brother Frank and sister Sharon.
Louise spent most of her working career in the Food Service Industry whether it be cooking, waitressing or even bartending. She spent her last few years of work in a Fish Camp up Hwy 24 cooking.
Louise loved being on a ball field cheering on her kids and grandchildren, even playing a little herself. She loved keeping score even after her children had grown and started playing slow pitch you would find her in the dugout keeping score and cheering loud. She also loved venturing out and meeting her friends for coffee.

Wheezy, Lou, Lou-Lou, mom, grandma, and auntie were many names she had.
A Celebration of Life for Louise will be held on March 11th, 2023, at 1:00pm in the Legion Branch #242 Barriere, BC, lower level. Luncheon to follow catered by the Legion #242 Ladies Auxiliary.
