Jerry Grant passed away suddenly of a heart attack in Clearwater, BC, on March 18, 2010. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Shirley, daughter Darlene Morrison of Seattle, Washington, brother Ken Grant of Clearwater, best friend Maurice Chase, cousin Doug Roberts, plus many more cousins and numerous friends. Jerry was predeceased by his father, James A. Grant, mother Annie Margaret (Peggy) Grant (née Harby) of Seaside Oregon.
Jerry was born in Kamloops, BC, and graduated from high school in Seaside Oregon in 1958. He was part of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 until 1962. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Moose and the Elks Lodge in Seaside, Oregon. Jerry was always there with a helping hand for family, friends, neighbours, or even folks he did not know. That was his nature. He was loved and respected by so many; he will be missed but never forgotten.
