Robert Laskiewicz passed away suddenly and tragically as a result of a fire in his home on Barriere Lakes Road on December 18, 2010. He was 78 years of age. Born in Belgium, Robert spent his career as an aerial photographer. He lived for a number of years in Barriere BC, and attended the Barriere Seventh-day Adventist Church. He will be missed by his many friends.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service for Robert Laskiewicz will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Paul, 464 Barriere Town Road, Barriere, BC, with Pastor Bill Kelly of the Barriere Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. A graveside interment service will follow at the Barriere Memorial Cemetery in the springtime.
