Olive MacLean was born in Francois Lake, BC on June 18, 1922 and passed away in Barriere House, Barriere BC on April 1, 2010, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her siblings, May Taylor, Bernice (Ed) Ellis, Gordon (Marlene) MacLean, Stan (Doreen) MacLean, Lorna (Howard) Bell, Garth (Regina) MacLean, and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Olive was predeceased by her mother and father, Jack and Ellen MacLean, and by her sister Ina Herd.
Olive loved crafts, painting, music, flowers and her family and friends. A special moment in her family’s life was when Olive was reunited with them after being apart for many years. A memorial service for Olive MacLean was held on April 4, 2010 at Barriere House, Barriere, BC.
