Condolences for the family of “Madeline Dyson 1927 – 2016”

Condolence from Barbara Telford Munro on September 2nd, 2016 6:51 pm

Madeline Estelle DYSON, will forever be missed by her four (4) Cousins Barb Telford Munro, Bev Telford Marcotte, Shirley Telford McMillan and Ronald Telford. We were with Madeline in her final days of life at her home this past May, at the hospital and finally the Kamloops Hospice. Through the many years growing up as children in Whonnock, BC all of us 4 cousins as noted, knew Madeline as our beloved Aunt along with her husband Ron DYSON (deceased) as our Uncle. Madeline was our Dad’s (Charles Vincent Telford) cousin whom he proudly walked down the isle when she married Ron DYSON on February 19th, 1955 at the Holy Rosary Cathedral in Vancouver, BC. Madeline DYSON was a huge part of our lives. Madeline was very close to her Mother, Florence Bromley as well as our Mother, Lydia and our Father, Charles Telford. Each Sunday she and Uncle Ron DYSON would come to our family farm in Whonnock, BC to share a dinner with our large family plus stay for the afternoon. Madeline will always be remembered with much love and respect by each one of us four cousins plus many more members of Madeline’s family that are too numerous to mention. Madeline was a highly intelligent businesswoman and family relative who loved to visit, chat and discuss life with each one of us. She was an extremely wise woman who always stood by and close to her family. Harold Abbott became part of Madeline’s life many years ago and was accepted into Madeline’s family at all our family celebrations. Madeline once said to me in May and prior to her passing that the people that you love will always stay close and loved in your heart even tho they may not live near by. They may be missed but are actually much closer than you realize. Such a very gracious woman who will be forever missed by all of our family for 70 plus years. A celebration of Madeline’s life was recently held with all of the family attending. Many memories and stories were shared. Our many condolences from all of us to Harold Abbott.
