In Memorial

On April 14, 2022 Michael (Mickey) Donavan Bartley Finn passed away at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, at the age of 81. Mickey was born on August 14, 1940 in North Vancouver and was raised in Kamloops BC.

Mickey was a loved and respected man in the community of Chase, who had a great sense of humour. Those who knew him will remember his many stories and great food that he and the love of his life (his late wife Marlie ) would prepare by a camp fire at Bush Creek camp site (Adams Lake). We will cherish the good memories made with him and remember his smile and laughter.

He is predeceased by his wife Marlena (Marlie) Finn and survived by his children Chris (Vicki) Finn, Todd (Nova) Finn, Adele Finn, and Shawn (Nancy) Finn. Mickey had eight grand children: Sasha, Jeremy, Cole, Jade, Shayla(Jarret), Tanner, Hailey and Kaden. He also had three great grandchildren: Grace, Sarah and Ava.

“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered, ‘Come to me.’  A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.”

As per his request there will not be a service.

Thoughts and prayers to all. I ftsr met Mickey when I was 16. We were in Prince Rupert for your Uncle Ron’s wedding. Our Hotel was right beside the docks. I happened to notice a good looking sailor walking down below ,Mickey yelled at him and told him to come up to our room. We all laughed. Until there was a knock on the door. Guess who. I was rather embarrassed. Never have forgot that Funny guy.
