Oct 18, 1952 – Mar 25, 2011
It was with profound regret and sorrow that we said goodbye to our beloved friend, daughter, mother, and grandmother on Friday, March 25, 2011. That day many schools and offices around the globe were celebrating Earth hour, which actually took place on Saturday, but it’s a nice thought and kind of appropriate that she passed away on the day many people around the world were joined together in celebration of the one thing she loved best, the Earth. Louise was a dedicated thinker, reader and a firm believer in living in the now. She loved nature, rockhounding, cross-stitching and gardening but her greatest passion in life was her grandchildren, whom she adored and spoiled unabashedly. Her love for the Earth and all of it’s creatures she gently instilled in her grandchildren, who will in turn carry that forward into their future and their children’s future. Louise is now, and forever will be, a part of her cherished planet with which she had a great many conversations. She was a friend, a mentor, and a teacher, but most of all she was a good person and we will miss her. A small family service will be held.
Louise Pearce was born in Galt, Ontario, on October 18, 1952, and passed away in Kamloops, BC. She is predeceased by her brother David Leonard Pearce and her mother Emily Pearce (Inglis). Louise is survived by her daughters Shanna Madison (Dave), Kyla Mckenzie (Weldon) Grandchildren Jenica, Wyatt and Weston. She is lovingly remembered by her father Len Pearce and his wife Barb, and her sister Heather Pearce and her partner Ron. She leaves behind her great friends Nellie and Tex Krombach, Keara Thorne, Lorraine Hunter, Darlene and Steve Muri.Print This Obituary & Condolences
