

Ronald (Ron) Antoniak, aged 79 of Kamloops, BC died at peace with God on August 18, 2023.
He was born the 5th child to Norman & Thelma Antoniak in Bonnyville, AB. He is survived by son Clay Hunting; siblings Orvey McDonald, Richard Antoniak (Sharon), Raymond Antoniak (Audrey); Gerry Antoniak (Vicky), Norma Guthrie (Ted); 18 nieces & nephews and 18 great nieces & nephews. Ron is predeceased by his parents Norman (1998) & Thelma (1992) Antoniak; siblings; John Antoniak (2020), Genny Fornelli (2000), Nicholas Antoniak (1985) and brother-in-laws Keith McDonald (2019) & Jack Fornelli (1967).
Ron worked for the CNR Railroad for 32 years from 1966-1999. He was a very accomplished golfer whose short game was one to watch at the many tournaments he played in. He was a member of the Rivershore Golf & Country Club, the Kamloops Golf & Country Club, the Mount Paul Golf Club & the Penticton Golf & Country Club. He had a twinkle in his eye and a zest for life. He lived his life by his own rules and let his heart guide him through his many passions.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends, family members and his dear pet Porky the cat who were privileged enough to know and love him. Please come and share your stories of Ron at his Celebration of Life to be held at the Kamloops Yacht Club; September 24 at 2 pm.

I’m so sorry to hear about Ron, I met him playing ball and we shared lots of laughs and meals. He named my cat Hacker. I’m glad I got to spend a couple of years having a fun time with him. Sincere condolences to Ron’s family.
