It is with great sadness and full hearts that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Robert Baxter, of Kamloops, BC. After a 4 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, and a short diagnosis of stage 4 brain cancer, Bill’s fight ended at the hospice on February 20th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.
Bill was born on April 20th, 1963 in Montreal, Quebec. He lives on in his wife, Marlene, his two children Melinda (Tyler) and Cole, and his granddaughter, Orianna. Bill’s memory is cherished and held close by his mother, Sheila, siblings John (Robi), Suzanne (Bob), and Colleen (Russ), father, William, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends.
Bill will be remembered for his infectious smile, wonderful sense of humor, strong loyalty to his word, wild attitude that kept us on our toes, and as a generous man always willing to step up to the plate. A friend to many, he is missed beyond measure.
A celebration of life will be held for Bill on April 28th, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Dunes in Kamloops, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marjorie Willoughby Hospice.

Marlene, Cole and Melinda. I’m so sorry to hear the passing of such a great person, friend, husband and father. When I started a new job at Chevron with Kevin Wallace I was lacking in confidence and Bill always gave me that needed boost and always had great praise in my ability as his family mechanic. I was so glad when he came to my retirement party at the shop, it was nice to have his confirmation in my ability at such a horrible time in his life……he will be missed.

Marlene..such sadness. Nothing I can print will make your loss any easier but know that Bill was one of my very favorite people for all the years I worked with him at Loomis Courier Service. We had so many laughs and we could always count on Bill for whatever was needed. Hold your memories close as we, who’s lives Bill touched, will hold ours.

We are deeply saddened by Bill’s passing. Our hearts go out to you.
All of us at Loomis will cherish Bill and all the memories over the years (never a dull moment).
His witty attitude and love for his job and friends. Most of all, how he loved and adored his family. He will be greatly missed!
But never forgotten!
